This program provides immediate assistance to affected disaster victims and manages resource generation and distribution during crisis. We follow the 3R approach when we deal with a disaster-struck area: relief, rehabilitation, and restoration. Relief, our immediate response, is providing food packs to affected individuals. Rehabilitation is addressing the economic loss of the beneficiaries and providing a possible livelihood project that is applicable for them. Restoration is providing housing facilities and shelter repair kits to those whose houses were damaged.
During the Taal eruption in year 2020, we were able to give 2,000 relief packs and temporary shelter to some families. We also handed over 1,520 food packs to those who lost their jobs during this pandemic, 2,775 packs to the victims of typhoons Rolly and Ulysses in Albay, Catanduanes, Isabela and Cagayan.
