On a bright Sunday morning of August 7, 2022, the parking lot of the Saint Joseph Parish Church was crowded not with cars, but pedicabs. Seated at the front pews were pedicab drivers participating in the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, their first activity for the day.
Towards the tail-end of my medical training journey this year, I remember pondering of ways where I could literally give back. I found myself searching for various foundations and NGO’s online where I could possibly be of help. Will it be an organization related to education? Or a group centered on feeding the poor?
